Character's history since the end of HBP till now:

Lavender threw herself into her studies when her 7th year began. What else was there to do? With Aurors watching everyone's move, it really put a damper on her love life, so she focused instead on school.
After the death of Padma, her mother sent her to live with her grandmother in the country. It was a muggle town and she was without magic for a full year.
She came back and now is co-owns a boutique in Diagon Alley with her best friend Parvati.
